Heads up winter is coming (hard)

I hope winter returns. Snow is mostly melted here.

We need a lot of snow to replenish our ground water and so far we've only had like 70" of snow. Businesses are struggling without skiers and snowmobilers. Hospital is struggling without the injured skiers and snowmobilers arriving in the ER. I would be happy with another 100+ inches of snowfall and another 8-10 weeks of below freezing.

I remember going to the Upper and was amazed at the snow & epic cold. And that's when we lived in Wisconsin. No, thank you! But kuddos to the hard-core people that live in those conditions! And I'm including Alaska, Canada, anywhere north. Yeah, we had that in Wisconsin, but that was when we had "day jobs" and no cattle. Hardest thing I had to do was get from the truck to the office in the parking lot, maybe helping plow the driveway.
