I have a bred heifer due to calf in March. I bought her around thanksgiving. This winter when I put out hay (I feed bales on the ground behind the barn) I watch the cows eat after feeding. Watching their behavior, I was able to see that the bred heifer is at the bottom of the pecking order. She takes some hard head butts to the side of her body mostly. She is smaller than the mixed breeds of cows in the herd. I am wondering what this is doing to the orientation of the unborn calf. Should I anticipate some problems?

Probably not but you should find a way rto feed her separate from the others
