Hi all. Just thought I'd share some photos of the grain collection site where I work over summer.
This first one you can see last years grain tarped. There was a lot of rain so the feed grade wheat is still there from last year (That bulk head has about 25000 tonnes in it. This year screenings are a bit high so we have a bit of feed barley so far but a lot is going malt grade which is good news. I took the first wheat on sunday and canola is coming in steadily.
Here is 2 of the 4 open bulk heads we have. Each hold 25000 tonnes.
The grain cleaners back dropped by a really nice sky. I took that from the top of the feed barley stack as we pulled the tarp onto it.
Bit blurry. I'm standing on top of the barley stack again. You can see one of the sheds where we put wheat and canola.
