I make these from horseshoes.I have them from Canada to Fl,Miss,Tn,Ar,Az,Mo.Ks,Wa.NY.Ks,Tx,Ok.An points in between.
You wont find any like them not what they are made of but also how they are set up.
They release a horses head take the bind off of them and that lets them relax and focus on the job.They dont bounce and make noise.They collect a horse up and he stays collected.If you have a pull you have to have a push and mine push from the off side and release from the pull side.And wont roll up or push a horse away.
Team ropers,calf ropers,barrel races and cutters use them.I make different ones to fit different horses and situations.
They come form 40yrs of not liking the feel of the otheres in my hand and on the horses head.Need to let a horse relax.When they relax it takes the anxious feel away from them.
These are the two basic designs I make others with more weight and length.
I make the tiedowns also.Made from Piggin string they fit closer to a horses head and dont bounce they will run with them but not throught them.
