Got your Christmas tree up yet?

Signed, addressed and mailed out 2 doz Christmas cards yesterday, but that's the extent of it for now. Just haven't been able to get in to it this year.

I have hundreds of huge white pines and Norway spruce on my place. My daughter and I cut off a lower limb every year and use that for our Christmas tree. Even as she gets older, she still likes doing it, it's like a Charlie Brown tree but if she likes it, I like it. We will be putting up our Christmas branch today.

I like that idea. We got a real tree this year for the first time. Got it up monday before last and gave the kids their presents last friday night. I just got back on the rig last night and will be here till after new years it seems.
