We lost one at the lot first off but health is good now and they are doing we. Target is 850 lbs in late April. We will forward contract them sometime in late January or early February.
The replacements will meet bulls next summer and have there chance to stay a while longer.
When converted to US dollar your slaughter cows are lots higher than here.Bright Raven":2oqnv466 said:gcreekrch":2oqnv466 said:Ron, we have our replacements at home. We need to send a load of cull cows to Canada.kenny thomas":ptxpk7xj said:Wow, there are cows standing in the market that were bought 10 days ago that haven't been picked up yet. Way too many cows and many are in the 30's. Some at .10-.25

Costs a lot of money for those cows to stand and wait for kill dates. A month ago these cows were 15 to 30 cents cheaper.
What do cows in your area weigh live on average Kenny?
