I am an Arizona fan for one reason---Kurt Warner. I still have not forgiven the Rams for running him off. Arizona allowed Green Bay to get back into the game because of 2 MAJOR coaching mistakes by their staff. The first was, with a 14 point lead, they failed to be alert for an on-side kick. Green Bay recovered it with no competition. The other was after Green Bay scored again to make it a 7 point lead, the coach called 2 minimal running plays and a short pass for a 3 and out series trying to run down the clock instead of pushing the ball against one of the top defenses in football that could not stop the Cardinals yesterday. Warner was furious and yelling when he got off the field because the coach had just given the Packers a reprieve against an offense they could not stop. Meanwhile, the Cardinal defense, which is very inconsistent, had no chance to stop Aaron Rodgers. So, Green Bay got the ball back and went right down the field to tie the game. If Rodgers had not over thrown the wide open receiver on the first play of overtime, Green Bay would have been playing next week. Also, if Rackers doesn't miss the easy field goal there is no overtime. But, don't forget, the Packers left 4 points on the field at the end of the 1st half when the coach mismanaged the clock and had to kick a field goal on 1st down as the half ended, instead of scoring the touchdown. How big was the difference at the end of the game by not having those 4 points? I would say it was a day when the players were much, much better than the coaches.
