I have a 55 gal diesel fuel tank I put in the back of my truck during hay season to fill tractors up. Either my tank is rusting on the inside or the fuel Iam buying is dirty. I have a 10 micron filter on the tank but Iam still getting a lot of dirt an trash in the fuel the filter is one from tractor supply it's a cimtek brand. So what size micron filter should I use and what brand is best??

IMO cimtek is the best
10 micron should be sufficient
If not use a 2 micron but the trash may be in the tank on the tractor

Ya I thought the same thing but i pump some out into a 5 gal bucket and was able to see some junk in it. I might use two filters use a 10 for the first on and a 2 for the second and see if that works. I thought maybe that the cimtek might not be a very good filter wasn't sure. Thanks
