Well, I had to fuel up at $1.44/L, best price I found on my trip was 1.35/L.. So we're well over a buck a gallon more (this was diesel)
Bright side is my truck got really good mileage... I'm over 300 miles on this tank and have a good 1/4 left.

We are on target to produce over 3 million barrels of crude oil in the US this year and fracking shale oil is the driving force. We have given OPEC a little competition and they are po'ed about it. It's all they have to sale and oil refineries are the only buyers. Competition and supply and demand. It will probably level off pretty soon though with the cost of fracking.

Fracking shale oil is the driving force. Come on now, I figured it was ethanol, or them wind mills.
How low do you think fuel would go with the government's help? All the dumbocrats and their leader, are trying to make it as tough as possible for the fuel companies. Do away with the EPA and fuel would be cheap and the vehicles would get twice the mileage also.
