Will an infection such as Foot Rot cause abortion...maybe in a first calf heifer? I have a bred angus sired heifer that should have calved on 1/24 if she was bred the last day she was in with the bull (She was exposed from 3/17 to 4/14)..she had foot rot for a couple of days back in December..I treated her w/ LA 200 for 3 days and kept her in the barn...foot rot disappeared but now no calf yet...any thoughts? Thanks...

If he would have aborted in the third period and she was in a barn, you would have found some signs of it. Heifers are considered normal in being as much as two weeks early or two weeks late.
