Jeeze Louise the older I get the faster the time seems to go bye. We received the 84 day update on our bulls that we put in the Florida bull test last week. I felt a little better this time the bulls seem to have settled in and our growing really well now. For test results you can go to http://nfrec.ifas.ufl.edu/fl_bull_test/2012_Bull_Sheet_84_Day_Summary.pdf The sale is in January we really wanted to see how the 9R9 calves would preform and they haven't let us down. Ronnie and I are heading to a Black Classic sale meeting next week and plan to stop in and see the bulls I will try to get some photos on the trip. I sure hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, spending time with good friends and family sure was nice.

I posted a month or so ago about the bull test and was planning to get some photo's but ran out of time and didn't get it done. Our son Jacob had to go to Marianna today for a meeting he got to the bull test station late in the day so didn't have much time. He said the unit staff had been working cows all day and they were ready to call it a day so he didn't want to hold them up. He did get a few photo's of our bulls he said all the bulls looked really good. The staff at the beef unit did a good job with the bulls as always.

Time was really getting short so he didn't get many pictures of the 1106 bull it took him awhile to find him and when he did found that he was actually in the wrong pen so they pulled him up into a sorting area. The 1106 calfs registration number is 1726615 http://www.angus.org/Animal/EpdPedD...ob2G3+zcxR0Cv53S4cPpAJuMljnRsoQVt1GivIdoBwA==

The sale will be held on January 19, 2013. The final weights are scheduled this week so it will be intresting to see where our calves finished up in the test. Hopefully they did ok.

For those of you that have had our family in your prayers my sister was removed from life support yesterday and is breathing on her own. She was in ICU for 13 days so the past few weeks have been rough. My Brother In Law was released from the hospital yesterday. God Is good all the time!

Thanks I can't wait to see them I wanted to get over and peek at them but just didn't make it so I haven't laid eyes on them other than the pictures Jacob took since July.

Jeanne

thanks all keep the prayers coming they had to put my sister back into ICU on Sunday this is day 18 and she has been in ICU for 16 1/2 of those days. She had to be put back on the ventilator on Monday.

I really like the 1106 bull as well he isn't as long as the 1137 bull but he is a stout little sucker.
