I suspect there's some sort of alarm that goes off and wakes mod two when someone flags a post. And that's the real problem. We find and do away with the snitch...... Problem solved.

It hasn't been that long ago that would have been a very viable solution. Nowadays, something in the atmosphere, the water, or from cosmic rays has thinned people's skins to the point that it is sure to offend someone.
(I personally blame it on the LHC)

of your schedule before checking back in and noticing the drama, it inspired me to post my schedule. Did you read it? I was hoping it would spark a heated argument! :lol2:

Burned up the atmosphere I think.probably allowed those little aliens to remotely alter people's thought patterns from distant galaxies and make skin so thin as to be like a 90 year old grandmother's.

I find it interesting that I have been here longer than most any regular. If there is an active poster who has been here longer I don't know who that is. Actually I was here before you had to register. When they started making us register in December of 2003, I didn't do it. I just lurked for a few months as I was suspicious of why you had to register. In that nearly 15 years that I have been posting here I never had a post flagged that I know of, never got a nasty gram from the Mod, never got a thread locked, and have never been kicked off. I have strong opinions on religion and politics but I keep them to myself when I am here. I have been insulted a time or three but I let them roll off my back because what am I going to do drive clear across the country to confront someone I never met and who will never meet me. I offer my opinion when I think it is appropriate. I ask question when that applies too.

Yes, when we had to register that was quite the change. It really was the Wild West before then. I barely remember anything from back then - seems like ancient history. I do remember the uproar every time the boards were changed to a different format.

Your a different kind of man. I never understood how someone could live amongst all those weirdos and stay on track. I always got a kick out of how you kept up on the day you could retire. And I surely didn't think you'd ever find a new wife. Your living the dream, and I'm proud for you.

Didn’t see this post that got flagged or locked but do want to add that all the bickering has really gotten out of hand. I realize people have strong opinions, passions, etc... but the pissing contests are annoying.

There is enough REAL WORLD crap going on around us, we shouldn’t have to be dealing with petty bickering on a board we come to learn or connect with other cattlemen. It’s really a drag. It’s frustrating to scroll thru 8 pages of stuff to get to the actual messages regarding the initial post.

Stop making people uncomfortable. You can debate with one another without acting like little assholes.
