Well I'm sorry for telling the truth then. Bestoutwest didn't seem like "Terrorist" so I backed off of that, because I honestly didn't know either way. But I do know exactly what he was wearing on top of his head. It's hard for me to believe that people are so thinned skinned to words that don't even pertain to them.

I don’t flag your posts, just call you out. I think I may have flagged one once, but that was for massively inappropriate language. But it must have been years ago.

I must not pay attention in class; I didn't even know what a flagged post was. After reading through this thread and utilizing my amazing detective skills, I gather it's a tool to report posts we feel are inappropriate. Needless to say, I've never flagged a post.

Somewhat like greybeard, I did some other activities yesterday and came back to notice the ruckus. I got up at dinner, had breakfast called in, took a nap, got up and watched General Hospital, took another nap, then checked CT, and gee whiz! I would have posted about it then, but I accidentally dozed off.

I don't plan to ever flag anybody unless they get really rude and accuse me of being lazy. :lol:

I didn't flag it and it did not offend me. In fact, I think I have flagged 2 posts in my entire time on these boards, neither was yours. But you surely understand that you are not just speaking to Best. There are many cultures that wear a turban. To refer to them as "Rag Heads" is inappropriate. Many read these boards.

Oh...Rag Heads.... I missed it too and was wondering who got busted for bashing Red Holsteins.

I do read every flagged post.
I really don’t care about the issue.
Once I have my attention drawn to a post I haven’t read, it gets my full attention.
There might be no action at all taken because of hurt feelings to extreme prejudice for rule violations.

Mod2, you have a hard job and there's no way to make everyone happy. Cow topics can get pretty boring, and most things have been covered multiple times. But there's not a day that goes by that I don't learn something new on CT. Most of the time it's not cattle related, but when you need to know something about our lifestyle, someone on here usually has an answer. I enjoy the banter as much as learning about cattle.

Being a general pain in the butt is not against the rules. Politics, religion, name calling, personal attacks, threatening is. Unless I'm alerted to it I don't usually see the things that are found disagreeable. My standard fix is to go through and sort out the bad posts or those that link to it... I prefer to not lock threads unless they have gotten so far off track they can’t recover to the OP.

It hasn't been that long ago that would have been a very viable solution. Nowadays, something in the atmosphere, the water, or from cosmic rays has thinned people's skins to the point that it is sure to offend someone.
(I personally blame it on the LHC)
