first game of the season today

Daughter ( just finished 8th grade) has her first softball game of the summer today. She'll play shortstop so I'm sure she will see action. We've been practicing quite a bit and we got her a new bat -it's a composite material that sure works better than aluminium. I'm glad she likes softball, i played in college (first base) and hope she enjoys it as much as i did.

Wish her luck. I played a little baseball in HS and played rec league softball for 30 years till I got too fragile. Still miss it some.
