finishing bulls on hay and soy bean hull pellets.

It's about 14% protein (12.2% on the low end) & 80% TDN. With good hay, can you put 3.5lbs a day on bulls with 10lbs a day soy bean hull pellets and quality hay?

I don`t think you can get that kind of ADG from bulls with that formula. In my experience you will have to add maybe say corn for added energy & soybean meal to reach 3.5 lb. or at least in my area this is average mix you would feed.Then again depends on breed of cattle you are growing. Lots of idea`s out there but, i can`t reach that gain with hay & soyhulls.

I'd be more inclined to use Corn Gluten and Bean Meal, and maybe some Cottonseed Hulls and good Hay for this time of year.Should be able to get you closer to the desired rate of gain.
