Any good tips on methods of facefly control when doing rotational grazing?

Thanks! gwece (southern Illinois)

IGR and fly wipes set up so they have to pass through them to reach water. That's how we've done it for the past 15 years. The rotational grazing also helps some.

My cows seem to really like the fly powder bags hanging in shaded areas, like a tree. They use them a lot, which is probably good, considering it may not be as strong as the wipe.

Thanks for the replies. Guess I'm gonna have to fence in my waterers. NRCS had me put them right in the middle of most of my pastures. LOL

When we do a rotation, our cattle have to go thru a gate that I have a backrubber with face flyps on it, and it seems to really help. Also, have one strung across another gate where they go get minerals and water from a trough.
