Gonna be a week or more in the 90s coming up. Dew points in the 70s. Fall breds have plenty of trees/shade and water is within eyeshot. Funny - this is how our colleagues in Florida and other places spend 4 or more months a year and I'm amped up for having to do it for a week :). Don't worry, same thing happens to me in the winter when the cattle have to endure a week long frigid blizzard like my colleagues in North Dakota experience for months. No making me happy....
 
4 months of the year in the 90’s & up? That’d be a super mild summer by South Texas standards. The Gulf coast is a tad cooler but high humidity, get closer to Laredo and its oppressively hot but the humidity is much lower by late afternoons.

I miss the Florida weather. But my wife tells me that I prefer all 4 seasons. At least I'm retired and don't have to leave the farm for weeks on end when it ices in Feburary or 100 in mid summer.

We always heard about this hot Georgia weather but we were there 2 weeks ago and it was not hot. We drove from Tallahassee up in to Georgia with the windows down. You could feel that gulf heat/humidity through LA for sure but the more east you went the air was way cooler.
 
At 90 degrees I am on my recliner with the AC which is right behind it turned up on high. We don't get much of that sub zero weather. Maybe a week with a low of minus 5. But we will have a month or 2 that stays below freezing. Those 20's and teen temperatures are certainly good working weather. One of the big advantages of this no rain desert is the low humidity.
 
I do pretty good from about 20*F to 95*F, but outside of that things get tough. When it's cold we can add some clothes or take a break and get warmed up. When it's in the upper 90's to 100 plus and the suns out there's not much you can do but try not to die. The humidity kills us in the summer and the wind takes us out in the winter.
The last 5 years have made for some really strange weather patterns.

That's Ga for you. We have a saying:' == "If you don't like the weather, just stick around a day or so and it will completely change." Last week, we had some highs as low as 77 and as high as 92, but low humidity. Today, it is 90 with about 94% humidity. Feels hotter today than it has all week. So, you just go get in the water!
 
Odd how it is, with humidity. Grew up near Houston Tx, so I'm used to it. Spent Oct-March in Waukegan Ill with Lake Michigan's lake effect moisture, and it was very cold much of the time with a LOT of snow, but didn't really feel cold. BUT, I Worked in oilfield around Elk City Oklahoma in several Januarys and Februarys (nothing between Eld City and the Canadian border but some barbed wire fences to slow the wind down) , and without a doubt, it's the coldest place I ever worked, and that includes South Korea in winter time. (glad I didn't have to stay there very long!)
I have seen people from other parts of the country go thru training at Memphis Tn Navy base in summer and swear it was the hottest most humid place in the world but it didn't feel that way to me.
 
This afternoon following 4 days of rain it is 60 degrees with the humidity at 64%. By Saturday the predicted high will be 87 and humidity will be around 20%.
 
91 and 113 makes you feel damp as soon as you step outside. Supposed to get warmer as the week goes on.
