Been considering using him lately. Just looking for everyone's opinion on him.

We bred to Homestead this past spring and our buddy just had his first calf a few days ago. We used him because of his balanced EPD and Pedigree with proven maternal sires, Thunder, Remedy, and the Dam coming from Territory.

It looks like he is breeding calves that grow really well to Yearlings. Hopefully they start to slow down after that. I haven't seen any calves in person but we are hoping they also will make good females.

I found him to be very solid . Extremely long and might not be as big as framed as his numbers say but I think he will work well on a lot of my cows

My buddy has a yearling from Homestead. I will get some pics and reg #. Epds if I remember correctly are very good. He weighed almost 1,450 as a yearling.

He is being feed 10 pounds of a 16% starter a day and unlimited triticale. His numbers are good I will get his reg number and post it.
