Do you use them for flies and what success do you have?

I use them along with other fly control. They work for awhile, then draw damp, and don't work. If I spent more time taking care of them it would be better.

Mine is in a run in shelter and the cows love it. They use it everyday.
Be sure to read the label though, there are some fly tags and products that you are not suppose to mix with them.

I've tried them a couple of times. Invariably there will be one cow (at least one) that thinks it's a speedbag and will stand under it and keep smacking it till it's empty.
