Date on purina feed bag

Got a pallet of Purina 14%. Fed a bag all good. Next bag the heifers smelled of it and left. Smelled of it myself and a slight odor. Looked at bags and the date code read like this.

Does it look to you like April 2013? Does to me! If so I'll be at the feed store in the morning getting my money back! Thanks gang

6 is the year, apr is the month , 13 is the day

I'd still go to the feed store if it seems off. There might be a batch problem

Different companies have different ways of dating feeds. Regardless check with the local feed store owner and see if he will exchange it for you simply because of the bad smell and the cattle won't eat it.
