Since the " what is the last stunt your cow pulled" thread is such a success I thought I would try again! No offense and seeing as I not only learned something and got a pretty could chuckle out the the post here last week about the cow " snapping off" ( I thought the verbage made it seem like you were right there! :) ) the new head gate posts and running off with the gate incident, what other CRAZY things happen down on the farm? I was cooking for some fellows yesterday and ask a dude how he was getting along with the plowing on his new field. " pretty good" he says now that he's on the right one!! Say what!? He plowed the wrong field! Owner showed up Saturday morning aak him what he was doing to his Sister property?? Whoops! Know here's the good part........a phone call later she leased it to him fair I suppose! I got some more like that, how about you?

Hired a guy to push over some tree's with a dozer, root ball fliped the dozer upside down.
We both stood there awhile making sure he was OK with that kinda of O Shyt look on our face's.
I finally ask had ever done this before? He!! NO! My second question was if he had any idea how to roll it back over.
He!! No again. We finally got it rolled back over but it did make for a real interesting day.

What size dozer. Musta been pretty small. If the root ball rolled it over it was to small for the job or the experience of the operator.

D-6 Texas live oak's are a little different than your average tree.
Root ball can cover 1/4 acre.

During the last hurricane it rolled some big oaks. Guy had his truck parked in the drive way one block up from us. Live oak next to the drive way fell away from his truck but the root ball peeled his driveway up and flipped the truck.

I had a teacher in High School that had a neighbor in Ohio who had a feild of round-up ready soybeans and a feild who wasn't so ready lol. The guy paid someone to fly over and spray, the wrong feild got sprayed.

I pulled up to the front gate the other day and got out to open it when one of the neighbors dogs( looks like a boxer on steroids) comes from around a fence toward me. Startled me a bit since that's never happen so I hop back in the truck and try to shoo him off. He ain't having none of that and now my dogs are up and moving too. Finally after an in and out of the truck once more he moves on and I get back out to open tge gate. About the time I get to the gate the truck bumps me.....I guess I had pulled it out of park cuz at one point I thought of bumping my way thru from the truck since I'd opened the latch. Geez not only could I have been run over but then probably licked to death by the big mean dog. ;). Farm accident dodged.
