Drove up on this sunday morning...erk. The guys have been working on this pond and for the last 8 months, no one has even tried to go down into it. There is a small pond right next to it, and this heard just crossed a creek to get to this side...Tator, our last commercial show heifer, decided to check out the rye grass growing down in there..Freaked out and crossed the pond into a worse spot to get out. She hadnt been there long, no poop behind her. Called my son to alert him to what his cow did... It was a mess trying to get her out.

Stood around to chew her cud. Shes fine, just glad i saw her when i did, vultures were checking her out.

Guys got busy to make it where no one can do this again. Unfortunately we have rain moving in so they couldnt finish. Cows moved out of that pasture for now.

Glad y'all found her in time. They never cease to amaze me at the trouble they can get into.

We've had around 6 inches of rain...if they had had time to finish that pond, it would have filled....erk
