The cows are eating the blocks really good and I also added a loose fly mineral. Hopefully will see a difference in a few weeks. After the last rain the flys have become terrible.
Should work fine. Has the same active ingredient as most fly control loose minerals and probably much more palatable.

Thanks TB. I have a heck of a time getting my cows to consume enough mineral. Well that's according to the manufacturer's recommended daily consumption rates.

Interesting concept! I've never tried blocks before, only fly control mineral. Anyone have any results yet? Flies get bad around here in the summer and are already popping up. With the unusually warm winter we had, I won't be surprised if this is a bad fly and pinkeye year.
