The lady who wrote this letter is Pam Foster of Pamela Foster and Associates in Atlanta. She's been in business since 1980 doing interior design and home planning. She recently wrote a letter to a family member serving in Iraq ....

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?

Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and ---- you guessed it - - I don't care ! ! ! ! !

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your e-mail friends.
Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior!

If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button.

Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great country.

I have to say I agree whole heartedly.

The other day I heard someone say "not all muslims are terrorists." I thought for a moment and responded "yeah but aren't ALL terrorists muslims?" Something lopsided about it.

If someone does not want to start a fire, they should not strike matches.

Muslims that live in isolated muslim communities only know the things about me that have been told to them.

When we were kids in grade school they told us the Russains have "secret police" in seething voices. "No one knows who they are...." When we got older we realized the USA had "secret police" also but they call them undercover agents.

I work with and know some muslims who are good people. They have come to know and trust me. We have had some deep conversations. It is sort of like the Baptists disagreeing with the Catholic view on things, if I can use a comparison.

If I see a red car, I call it "red" because when I was a kid I was taught that the color I was looking at was red. They were taught it was a different color so they pronouce it differently than "red".

Their values are their values and mine are mine. They are different. The mainstay Muslims do not understand my values and they have been taught that my values are bad and that I will spread them all over if I am not stopped. They are also taught they should stop the spread of my values.

If they go striking a match to burn my house down, I want to put out that match and I want to make sure they don't go striking any more matches. Once they prove to me they will not strike any more matches, I can relax and tolerate them.

There are good and bad people from all walks of life. We are all a product of our environments.

I return thanks each day for the heroes of past wars who gave me this great country and the opportunity to freely express myself. I also give thanks to those who are protecting the way of life for me and for my future generations.

I had ancestors who died giving me the write to vote. If I failed to vote, I would essentially saying they died for nothing. I feel the same way about those fighting right now to maintain my rights, freedom, and safety.

They brought their war onto our turf. I would rather it be finished on their turf than mine.

no....what about the IRA over here and Tamal Tigas and the Gorillas. so not all Terrorists are Muslims, but there are a lot that is.

anyway good post, but I do believe someone once snooped this and found it not to be a true letter.

I wonder if she cares that several hundred thousand innocent Iraqis have been killed since the United States invaded their country. They had nothing to do with 9/11 you know.

Too many have been killed on both sides, an entire country has been decimated, and our coutry is at odds with each other...that's why GW's daddy said enough at the end of Desert Storm. He knew that war with the Middle East was folly. Was he right? I think so.
