Do my steers look close to finished?

We have 2 steers with a butcher date of Sept 10th. They’ll be about 14 months old then. They eat about 25lbs of grain each per day with some coastal hay. These are our first steers we’ve ever done so I have no idea what these guys weigh. They are getting pretty fatty now. They look good to me! Made me hungry just looking at them! I have zero experience intentionally raising and finishing calves for the table, but looks to me like you did a good job. But here is the question: Are YOU happy with how they turned out? IMO, you ought to be.

Maybe, but if you were only going eat one and sell the other two cover costs you’d wonder why you didn’t get as good a price as the rest at a sale.
 
Thanks everyone. I think they will turn out pretty good for being our first steers. Friend is buying the second which will cover all the costs of feed plus the steers so we are pretty happy with it. We may feed the next out a month or so longer.
 
Someone told me once that the dew claws should be pretty well spread apart on a fattend ready to butcher animal.
True or false I don't know. But these steers look nice and have some spread between the dew claws.
 
The brisket being full and rounded are my go to indicator at a glance. Also fat on the tail-head. If they are gaining weight and showing decent fat cover they will be adequate for most people! Those high choice and prime market cattle or a different deal altogether.
