I feel so bad for you. You went, you showed you care, you tried. I am giving you a cyber hug. Where is shantilly, she gives big hugs!

She gave me flowers said here. walked off and I left and came home and worked in yard.

I have tried several times to help the kid. I have tried to talk to her and she refuse's. I put money at book store at college for her. If she continues college I will help a little but wont go out of my way if she refuses to go above and beyond. should have stayed home and built fence.

I guess I don't get the graduation thing. I couldn't wait to get out and didn't care who came or if they came. I would have been happy to skip my own. Why such the big deal. When she gets out gets a job does well and can take care of self then we can have a party until then buck up contribute to taxes and work to get to your goals. I am afraid she will take after her mom and be a dead beat and live off of state.

Two words sums this up for her. ( NO PRIDE)

You went - you did right - no one will ever be able to say you did not show and you did not care.

Hold the cash and the gifts - use them appropriately and do not let her get her hands on any of it.

Time does funny things.

I will add two words to the ones you gave her: Not yet.
