One more time!
It all goes hand in hand with my "Push" thread from a while back. But unless I'm alerted to it I don't usually see the things that are found disagreeable. My standard fix is not to go through and sort out the bad posts or those that link to it. I delete the entire thread unless I catch it as soon as it get's posted. If I do catch it when it first goes bad I delete the offending posts and lock the thread. That seldom happens. Stalking llike hook did with skyhigh will get you banned, if it's serious enough otherwise you will just get a PM from me. You won't even have to ask to ber banned like hook did.
If you don't like a post or thread, click the exclamation point at the right top of the post. That is what flags it for me to look into it.

Haven't been here long but, seems like the shyt can really fly(within reason), until someone gets offended.

Still disappointed, less frustrated.

X1000 dun. All the drama frustrates me, but I have found there is really no site I visit that is immune to drama. Each site has their own particular brand of drama. Drama is just part of human nature I guess. Some people thrive on it, some don't. So carry on :roll:

I'm surprised the threads lasted as long as they did. It's a shame that there gone because there was a lot of good history covered in them. TB and CB know a lot about the history of this country, they my not agree very often but I do enjoy reading their post.

Couldn't agree more. Not matter which side you are inclined to favor, almost always very intelligent discussion when they contribute. Always makes me feel like a young man at the feed store, listening to the wise ones hash topics out. Most of those guys have forgotten more than I will prolly ever know. Guess that's one of the reasons I enjoyed these threads...intelligent folks discussing relevant topics......for the most part.

Or maybe it's a clue about the rules on CT. It's not "our" board, it's Macons board, Macon has rules and they are posted here on CT. The Mods and Macon has let a lot of stuff go for quit a while, but everyone needs to know or remember folks from the north, northwest, California, south, east coast, Canada, S Africa, England, the Bible Belt may not see things as exact as some others do. Sometimes world issues get pushed too hard for a cattle board.

Alan I was offline so probably missed a couple of the final posts but I don't recall at anytime time the topic being about religion, or even political for that matter and noone was mad or calling names (although Dash did cal me "Pops" which was totally uncalled for. :nod: ) But it's not my board so I'll try to refrain from getting into any other discussion about history.

Seriously, my post last night were not contained strictly to this one thread. Over the last few months there has been multiple threads dealing with the latest cop beating and the issuing riots, gays, what religion does God love the most and straight out politics. I will say the confederate flag posts were pretty interesting and contained a lot of history and I very much enjoyed them, but I do know the flag offends others. The point I was trying to make is someone born and raised in the north, northwest, east coast, southwest, south is not going to view things exactly like others from other regions do. They have had different life experiences, it doesn't make one opinion or view right or wrong, it just makes it different.

All very true buddy.....CB sort got my goat when he said I hadn't lived her long enough to understand the South, etc....I've been here 64 years which is probably about as long as he's been here. But definitely was never exposed to what many call the "Deep South" or "Old South". Just Texas.

BTW the cancellation of the football games had something to do with the "Mercy Rule". We knew "O" was gonna hit a skid so backed out so they could avoid embarrasement and allow them to reschedule with someone like "Slippery Rock" or "Masonic Home for the Deaf and Blind". :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: :hide:

To completely try to hijack this thread :mrgreen: , the Ducks did just fill one of those slots. They filled the away game slot with Auburn in 2019 at Jerry's world in Dallas. The Ducks think they have home slot filled with an all star girls high school flag football team, Nike is currently working on color combinations for the flags and socks.
