Day Four

I have been snowed in since Monday Night. My wife stayed in town that night so she could make it to work. Hasn't been home since.
I called her this morning and told her that she could come home tonight, cuz' I was digging my way out to the highway with the tractor, 1 1/2 miles. She has to get home, the house is a mess and I'm out of alchol. Sara lives 1/2 mile from me and her family is stuck also, so we're both getting out. I fully understand our township getting bus routes and emergency routes and leaving us.
Hasn't been too bad, tho'. Heifers are calving and I'm around to help them. Tractor will go about anywhere. Bladed trails for the 4-wheeler to feed with. Worst is the mud under the snow.
Well, gonna' go play state snowplow worker. Call me Mr. Plow. gs

We dont wait any more as soon as it stops we dig out to the black top. We have a v plow we put on the loader have just used the bucket

Took about 2 1/2 hours. The snowplow showed up within an hour after that. plower-greg

thats the way it seems to work here any more but in days past we would go many snows with out seeing them if it wasnt drifted shut they never showed
