Yeah, none of us ever knows the whole story of someone else's life travels. But often, it's resented when someone appears to have "made it", when someone else is still on their own individual path to the American dream. I suspect that more often than not, there are alot more "scrapped and fought and worked hard and took chances" stories behind those "accomplishments" than appear evident to the current observer.
No doubt about it. Add to that, what might look like "success" to an outsider at any given time very well might have more "issues" going on currently than the outsider can ever imagine, let alone in the past to get where he is.
