Before you go balin green hay, there's somethin else ya might wanna think about, not only can it mildew....that stuff can catch fire. Don't bleave me? try it. round balin hay, that stuff starts makin heat in the middle and will start smokin. Have seen folks put hay up while it's still too green, stack the bales in the barn and burn the whole barn down, plus loose all their hay.
