My cows have cut back about 1/4 of their hay consumption due to the growing pastures.Looks like it will be back to about 1/2 in another 2 wks or so. They are also starting to splatter pretty good.
Gonna be glad when the hay feeding is over.Got 22 calves on the ground and 16 more to go.Always glad to see spring comming.

Me to. Glad to see spring that is. Hope we don't get any more 11 inch spring rains though, one of them is enough at time.

our cows quit eating eat bout the 1st of march.they getting enough green grass out of the pastures.
