That corn has really kicked in after the rain. Nice to know that you will have plenty on hand for the winter.
I have noticed here in Tennessee, there is a new corn variety that is much taller now. The irrigation systems are dragging through the tops to where you cannot see water spraying. The sprinkler arm at the end is the only part that can be seen. The corn would make a great silage crop.
I love to smell it when it is tasseling.
