I don't know which is worst. That Hereford or the "Brangus".
Proof that time travel exists. There used to be a crapload of those "Brangus" types running the national forests here back in the days of this county's open range. Somebody went back to the 50s-60s and got some.

"Brahman x Brangus Bull Yearling. He is 14 months old so he needs a few more months to mature but should make an excellent herd sire later this spring. He is 3/4 brahman, 1/4 angus so he's going to add the great traits of a brahman to your calves (size, heat tolerance, pest resistant, etc)"

So did that white face come from the Brahman or the Brangus?

Really a great group of sales pictures. Shows the condition, length, scrotum, sheath, butt, girth, legs and feet perfectly....oh, wait..
Why do people even bother posting a picture if it doesn't show anything?

Serious question: if it was a white Brahman and black Angus, could it have that coloration? Or would it be a dilute gray? :?:

I'm not a geneticist, but I don't think so. Not considering the fact that Brangus is a composite breed using Brahman and Angus, and the color follows the Angus (red or black). And it wouldn't produce that color pattern anyway. I'd be willing to bet that that calf has a considerable percentage of Hereford in his background.

It shows that he's a pet. Isn't that all that's important?

He looks pretty stout for 17 months.

WOW somebody should down load those pictures for when the next poster comes along and asks why not get registered Black Herefords... must be a misprint... 7-10 months not 17 months.

The asking price seems pretty crazy too. :???: I can't see them being able to breed anything. And as was said earlier I do wonder if that was a misprint, because it is hard to imagine that for that small of size, that they are 17 months.
