Did I waste my money on him?

Another one that would have benefitted from a bander or a knife.

"Deep and muscular". Yikes!

Bingo........ but some think registered automatically means a top notch bull

And the same breed of know-nothings that subscribe to that way of thinking, will buy the POS.

I will say though, this thread sure has been entertaining. :)

Found this herd bull on Facebook today for only 1800 bucks, what do ya'll think? Good buy or not?
I never understand the folks using dairy bulls on beef cows. Knew few people used dairy shorthorn, blue roan and montbéliarde bulls as a herd bull and put them on their beef cows....but these bulls are probably cheaper

If you are looking to improve milk production... he'll do that... top 10% milk
but he certainly appears to be a poster boy for 'hard doers' and his epd agrees putting him in the bottom 10% $EN

very nice black angus bull, little bit of chrome

WTF was that? . . . . . . . . . Black Angus . . . . . . .

Black (1/2 right) Angus (wrong, looks like Holtstein to me) Bull (I'm not sure about that, can't tell from the pictures but sure looks like a steer)

Anyway, other than those small errors it's a perfectly honest description.

another nice angus bull

To be fair, the ad didn't say "nice", so they got 1 out of 2 right. That's a better ratio than the ad for the Holtstein steer that was posted here last week that was described as a black Angus bull. That one was 0 for 3.
