I saw that too. The cows in the first picture don't look too bad, at least as far as I can tell. It makes you wonder what the sire looks like.

Looks very wormy .. also looks like they were pulled off the cow at about 2 months old .. I bet he wouldn't get 500 a price for them at the sale barn

I like the looks of those spotted long-eared Brahmans, and wouldn't mind having a cow just to look at, but $3000.00 for a 6-month-old bull calf? I don't think so.
