I have seen a couple online but thought I would ask here. Have any of you made any feeders out of this? The ones that I have seen use 24" double walled smooth inside pipe cut longways making two 20 foot long feeders. With tires at the ends and a couple in the middle for support. I wonder how these would hold up and if I could cut the pipe with a circular saw.

I was thinking of making them out of old 500 gal propane tanks.

What kind of circular saw? I think something like a concrete saw (chainsaw engine powered) would do really well

The pipes I was thinking of are plastic. I haven't ever worked with any and didn't know if just a regular circular saw would work. I am sure a concrete saw would do great though. I have heard the propane tanks make excellent feeders, I just don't think I would be talented enough to cut one without blowing half the neighborhood away.
