If anyone's interested, I've added a drawing of our corral design to our website. Go to our website and click on the "Our Program" tab and then the sub-tab, "Working Facilities."

I've also added a lot of new photos and updated, re-arranged several areas on website. Updates continuing weekly.

Thanks!

Pretty impressive RA! Like the corral.

Thanks!

We built our current corral area over 2 years, adding/subtracting stuff, modifying actual "working" items until things flowed smoother. Tried to "think" how cattle moved, walked thru (simulated) patterns, etc., changed couple gate hinge/swing directions, to get better ideas of all movements, people safety, and all. When we had a "problem" with an animal we tried to figure out how to prevent it again and best way to move, re-cycle an animal if it "got loose" within the corral system.

We have 110V outlets outside corral behind "Medina Hinge" area as well in that "catchment" area behind Calf Table area (along with shelves to put stuff on). Also have a 3 flood lite unit about 12 feet high above the "medina hinge" area.

We also use our corral area to quarantine a new arrival and/or to hold a customer's cow prior to transferring her to a bull pen for breeding.

Also keep a feed trough in the corral.
