Constipated calf?

I have a calf that is 5 days old (born Sept. 12) and was doing fine until today, she was in the bottoms with her mother and appeared to be weak. Her tail is raised as if she is going to have a bowel movement but can't, this problem just appeared today should I just give her something for constipation from the drug store?

Are you sure she is not scouring?Does she look too full?

Is her rear end clean? She may have squirted everything out and still feel like she needs to go just nothing in there to come out. If she is weak I think scours may be your trouble like larryshoat said.

Her rear end is clean, I went to the vet and he gave me some electrolyte mix to give her, after giving her about a quarter of the bottle the calf has started moving around a little more I'll check her again this morning.

Keep trying to get some fluids in her.
