The only thing that I am concerned about this whole election in that the liberals got 103 seats, and the Conservatives got 124, I think. How did they get that many seats after they screwed us over so bad and so many times..??
Glad the Conservatives are in though. I wouldn't have been happier, unless the riders get to the grey cup game, but I think thst they have as good a chance, as Paul Martin does running this country again. He just retired as leader of the liberals.

The problem is that there is still a minority government which means it can get overturned if those easterners decide they'd rather have the Libs back. A majority would have stabilized things a bit more, But we can only hope that Mr. Harper gets a good, long run. He had an asthma attack last night. I have asthma too. I told my kids that makes me just like the Prime Minister of Canada.

Thanks for the congrats. I was sad it was a minority government but just so happy that Martin is out and the Conservatives are in.
Maybe now we can work with our neighbours to the south a little better.
I'm also proud to be Albertan - not one Liberal elected in this province!

Far too many Canucks rewarded those who WERE in power simply to protect the socialistic values and to maintain the status quo - once you have lived in all the provinces and both the territories you will soon realize how bad it truly is - in general - in Ont, Que and many parts of the Maritimes.
