Coffee at the local convince store taste like a$$ and I can't stand much more of it
The wife had a Keurig so I went shopping.
Holy crap them things are expensive !
But it was easy, pour in water, drop in a little cup and in 30 secs you had coffee and out the door.
Anything make a decent cup of coffee quick and easy as I'm heading out the door in a big hurry with no time to waste that doesn't break the bank ?

Not that I know of, but I'm assuming you just want a single cup machine like that Keurig thing. Never saw the use of those myself--I never was able to just drink one cup so I make a full pot. I don't mind waiting for the first cup, but I'm not gonna stand there and wait for each & all 8 of them.

CB & dun will be along in a minute to tell how they just pour the grounds in an old muddy water filled hoofprint, stir it around with the toe of their boot and drink right from the hoofprint.

You can make one cup or a pot with one of those Mr. Coffee machines and you can set it up at night and it will brew in the morning. We used to make a pot every day till I stopped drinking it and now my wife just brews two cups for herself.

Just buy some good coffee and a walmart machine w a timer. It's magic. Just bring a cup. It's funny I seem to have weaned my self off coffee last @6 months. Still drink it but don't "need" it lately. I have drank more tea this year in the afternoon than ever. I don't like it though. Had more restless nights that I blame on caffeine in tea.

That's what we do, set it up the night before and when I get up, I just push the button/switch.

And they use an old half-chewed piece of hay as a straw! :hide:

If I meet a Texan that ain't drank coffee out if a muddy hoof print I'll buy him a Daniel Webster cigar.

You need a stainless steel French Press with thermal lining. Get some water boiling in a teakettle, pour it in and take the whole pot with with you.

Tassimo is what we have. They are not cheap but have a lifetime warranty. Didn't know about the warranty when the first one quite but it lasted 4 years. My wife and three daughters all drink coffee and have different taste .The coffee isn't as available as Keurig but we order online and its delivered.

LMAO. GREAT RESPONSE

I guess tastes for coffee are as numerous as opinions but I have acquired a liking for the "royal cup" brand. I use a Mr Coffee machine. I don't drink it in the summer when it's hot but it sure is good in the winter time.

I'm a coffee drinker and my coffee maker is set to go off at 5am rain or shine, that is unless I let her sleep in. :D And then the wife and I drink a cup or two every afternoon while we're discussing how blessed we are.
To me a Bunn coffee maker is the best IMO.

Bunn is the best and fastest for a whole pot. Takes about 3 minutes to make a pot. The first Bunn I had was on the boat. It brewed enough to keep Juan Valdez in business. Old fisherman I know had a saying: "Man cant live by bread alone, you gotta have peanut butter and coffee to go with it".

I use the Keurig to heat my water, and use instant coffee. I'm probably the only loser in the world drinking instant coffee.

I don't know about how Texans make coffee out of mud puddles, but I have a Keriug vue. I get up, push a button do my morning necessities it's ready to brew. Put in a new pod and get my first cup,10ozs. keep the pod in the machine drink my first cup and make a second 10 oz cup, plenty strong enough. Push a bottom coffee maker off and ready for the next day. It has a timer I don't use, but too easy and no mess, 20 ozs one pod.

When our Keurig machine died my better half found a machine made by Mr Coffee that uses the Keurig cups, but is a lot less expensive. The only drawbacks are that the reservoir doesn't hold as much water, and the water isn't preheated, so it takes longer. By the way, I use it for hot chocolate and she uses it for tea. I tried coffee once. It took two beers to get the taste out of my mouth.
