Everybody clips differently

What do you do that makes you different/sets you apart from others? And what hints and tips do you have for others?

Was at a show the other day and it made me think about this, I know my style of clipping tends to be a lot more 'natural' than a lot of other peoples.

i try to blend everything as best i can. some people leave hard lines and it makes their cattle look like dolls or something. way too precise. i like mine to still look like cattle when i am done, just a little neater than a wild beast.

Most of my longhorns have pretty slick hair. But some do have "hair" and that is fun to mess with. But I would say the big thing I do, and I'm sure most everyone else is the same way, is knowing the animal. The more I know about the animal's phenotype the better. I study the animals pretty hard to see where their strengths and weaknesses are, that way I can do my best to highlight those positive attributes and minimize the negative ones.

And I am with the others, I like everything to be blended in very nicely. That way you can tell they've been clipped, but it has the look like that is the way they are supposed to be.
