Some are starting to turn red so we picked them today. Curious if any one on here has any good recipes or ideas for them?

I remember my grandpa filled half a mason jar with those. Heated up some vinegar and poured it over the petins to fill the mason jar. That’s how he did it back in the day. Just kept adding vinegar when he’d use some of it. I also know that when I took a jar to college, the lid was damn near eaten through. Good stuff!

Thats what I did with them. Some people have sent me a hot sauce recipe that you make more creamy and can pour on things.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a sauce from those. I’ll have to look that up.

I checked the plants yesterday and a bunch were red again so I need to make a round through them.

We picked those same bushes from a week ago. Some of the green ones turned. Looks like they are still putting on more.

I did the vinegar hot sauce in the pic above. Its needs to sit for like 2 weeks. The vinegar is not as clear any more.

Foreign to me ; they resemble Tommy toe tomatoes but not the vines/ plant . Interesting ; learn something new today !
