Chicken may be "healthier" (even though I personally disagree and don't eat much chicken anymore), but from an ethics P.O.V. cattle have a whole lot better life than most chickens raised for meat.
I eat more beef because of that, and because of the better iron, zinc, potassium and V-B12 content than chicken can ever give.
But the low-fat craze is pure BS from what I've been experiencing and reading up myself. Carbs and sugar? Just like people love too much salt, too much of that is awful for most, if not all. Yet that's what keeps getting pushed, and it's pathetic.
