Going to take more than a P-u-ny shower to close this up....

Pasture fertilized 11 weeks ago today...just before the last 1/10th of an inch of rain we did get.

Some native pasture that hasn't seen cattle since February 15th.

The TexasTuff that we should be getting ready to cut for the second time....hasn't been grazed yet and is next in line.

Another wasted attempt at Arrowleaf Clover....

That is a little of what it looks like around here.

The lastest addition to the herd...born just before lunch. 4 year 3 month old had her 3rd calf.

I went to Hamilton last week and told ya'll it was "dry" like scary dry........

It shouldn't look like that anymore!!! We've had about 6" of rain in the last two weeks in Goldthwaite.... We got some more yesterday afternoon...

Our tanks went from a mud puddle to running around in a week...

The Good Lord has blessed us greatly!!!!

I've gotten 2 inches over the past two weeks...starting to green up nicely...bermuda should shake the ground growing for a week or two...Still a long way to go.

Looks like Goldthwaite was pretty lucky. Take that back, really lucky.

Man I feel for you. You have such rich looking soil there is no telling what you could grow with a little water. Of course it don't look like we are going to get any for some time so I might have some pictures shortly. Mine will probably just be of burnt up timberland though.
