Now here is an interesting one I thought I would pass on to you.
Had a 400 pound calf show signs of bloating.
The next day he blew up like a balloon so I got him up and gave him a box of Arm and Hammer and a good enema of warm water and soap and walked him around.
He looked a little better.
Six hrs later he looked fully bloated again, so I repeated the above.
The next morning he looked like he was about to pop so I called in the vet.
He shoved a tube down his throat and got some gas out but he still looked bloated.
Said there was nothing else he could do.
The next morning the little boy was dead, so I opened him up and found the cause of the blockage.
It was a white plastic Wal-Mart bag.
The little critter had eaten a plastic bag that had blown in the field from the road bank.
Go figure!
