Lets say you have a car and it wont crank, Do you check the tire pressure and make sure tires are properly inflated ????

If you mean from a storage, maintenance , kinda deal. Yes you should keep them inflated. Keeping them covered and soaked in armour all. Helps prevent dryrot.

in other words, what we're talking about is a flag on the courthouse lawn as opposed to your private lawn. what if it wasn't a flag that you liked? what if it was the GLBT flag? would you still be in favor of it?
it makes me bristle that it's happening as a knee-jerk reaction to these murders, but i'm not so sure that it's a bad idea to limit the flags that can fly on government property to the state flag and old glory.
