I don't think they really want to be part of the USA. Most Canadians I know like the independence too much. On the other hand I have a friend who claims that they are getting ready to atteck. He says they have been massing at the borders for years.

Humor has a tough time on this board. The line about the Canadians getting ready to attack because they are massing at the border is old as the hills. It is a joke based on the fact that something like 90% of the Canadian population lives within 100 miles of the border. And don't worry BP because if they were to attack the last place they would go to is NW Nebraska.

la4angus-- What was the price on 5-26-2004??-- That would be a much more comparable price because beef prices are seasonal-- Wasn't but a couple years ago, the fall price for fats was in the $60 range. That $20 cwt can mean a lot for what a feeder can pay for calves.
