Calf won't suck on front tits

Calf won't suck on the front tits. Should I try and milk her down or will i eventually get there. It has been 3 days.

Depending on how they hang the rears may just be more easily gotten to. In a week it hsould be hammering all 4 quarters. Little calves don;t really drink a whole lot in one setting so they are frequently satisfied with just a copule of teats and sometimes only one for a couple of days

If the teats are very large, the calf may not be able to nurse them.

Your spending too much time in the pasture. Many times a calf will only use a couple of quarters until it gets a few weeks old. Unless she is bell tited.
