Hi all. Have a 6 month old Angus/Beefmaster calf that we have handraised from about 4 weeks old when his mama died. We are feeding a calf creep supplement, and she is eating hay and what little graze we have right now in Texas. Tonight while we were out feeding her creep we noticed that her urine was a dark red, almost rust colored. She is awfully young for estrus, and wondered if this is something to be worried about (obviously we are!) Thanks for your insights, we are only a year or so into our cattle ranching...
