I have a 2 mo. old calf that is experiencing hair loss. It started on her legs and is most prevalent around her rear. It has now moved to her back and forehead. She is active and continues to nurse and does not appear to be loosing weight. Any suggestions on what this might be and possible treatment?
The only thing that I would think it is would be lice. Have you treated her for lice? You can purchase a pour-on product like DeLice. It should be administered 14 days after first treatment to get the newly hatching lice. Jeanne
